Jerusalem Symphony

The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra has added to the rich cultural heritage of Israel and the region for over eight decades. Conductors have included Igor Stravinsky, Otto Klemperer, Yehudi Menhuin, Mstislav Rostropovitch, Lorin Maazel, and Pablo Casals. Soloists have also appeared with the orchestra such as Yo Yo Ma, Jean Pierre Rampal, Isaac Stern, Martha Argerich, Artur Rubenstein and Yefim Bronfman.


For this 80
th Anniversary Tour, Dimitry Yablonsky (Principal Guest Conductor of the Moscow Philharmonic), and Conductor Laureate of the JSO, will present a program with with Brahms Symphony No. 2 coupled with the vibrant Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2.


The orchestra has performed in such prestigious halls as the Musikvereine in Vienna, Carnegie Hall in New York, Harris Music Theater in Chicago and the Philharmonie in Cologne. This American tour includes performances in Boca Raton, Sarasota, FSU, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts.


Esteemed music critic John von Rhein of the Chicago Tribune proclaimed of their last USA tour, “Jerusalem Symphony delivers a winner!” ArtsNaples World Festival is proud to present this orchestra in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Collier County.
